COURTYARD, AN AFTERNOON
In the courtyard of Grönlandet, the former National Insurance Institution.
The exhibition is at the famous courtyard of the former National Insurance Institute by architect Sigurd Lewerentz. But before that, the site had a life as the small Ethnographic Museum. This was a place full of life, but also unusual in its references to other worlds. The exhibition wants to activate the history of the courtyard and what was once there, by emphasizing some its sensual and tactile qualities.
Anders Johansson is an architect with the firms Ateljé Södersvik and Bodafors Furniture, working predominantly in wood in-between the fields of furniture and building.
