A CONTEMPORARY ARTISAN STUDIO FOUNDED BY LINA ÖHLUND.
Converging the raw, untamed beauty of nature and exquisite form created by human hands, Wildcrafted presents a deferential angle on product longevity, craftsmanship and quality of life. With a sense-evoking product world that alludes to escapism, slow living, and cultural traditions, Wildcrafted brings a mindful and poetic perspective on everyday objects. Each piece is meticulously crafted, with deep reverence for material qualities.
This year Wildcrafted presents a series of larger, hand-built ceramic objects. ‘My work evolves around tactility, aesthetics and our connection to the objects we surround ourselves with. The physical scale grants the ceramic medium with new qualities and possible areas of use, in the borderlands between sculpture and function’.
Lina Öhlund is an MFA industrial designer, design researcher and ceramicist. After working 20 years in the design industry she wanted to unite her interest in human centered design with her craftsmanship knowledge, and Wildcrafted was born. In addition to Wildcrafted collections, her work includes bespoke comissions for exclusive restaurants, hospitality and interior projects, with prestigious clients like Stockholm Stadshotell, Brutalisten, restaurant Nour as well as Norm Architects and Lotta Agaton Interiors. Wildcrafted is handmade in her ceramic studio in Stockholm or sustainably produced in collaboration with local artisanal manufacturers.
