STUDIO NAVET is a multidiciplinary design collective based in Stockholm, owned and run by Maria Johansson, Lina Huring, Cecilia Wahlberg and Helena Svensson. Their work spans from creative direction to spatial design, art commissions and objects, and sometimes things in between.

The group has worked together since 2012 and they have since then developed a collaborative work process where strict limitations are set early in the process, then continuously questioned and challenged throughout the project. Artisan serial production is continuously explored by the group, both as producers and as designers for collaborating with brands. Spaces and objects by STUDIO NAVET are designed to last, and are always developed in close collaboration with makers and clients.

Lava Series by STUDIO NAVET for Fôlk Reykjavik

Imagine a world where all products are crafted entirely from waste or recycled materials. Fôlk asked STUDIO NAVET to design an iconic vase. We developed a tailored production process of pouring the hot glass directly over an open mold, allowing the shape to find its own path. The process gives every vase a unique shape, like floating lava stopped in time. The series consists of  two vases and a bowl, all created with a similar production method between craft and serial production, and made from 100% recycled glass coming from the Swedish glass industry.
