Jenna Gillinger presents a wide range of objects in this exhibition, all united as furnitures for both domestic and public environments. With an artistic approach, the objects is designed with seriousness and a touch of humor with a focus on social sustainability and durability.

In the repertoire you will find a lounge chair carefully designed to provide integrity in public waiting areas, a modular stool designed as a counterpoint to today’s “wear and throw away” society and “feministic armchairs” inspired by women of pop culture.

Jenna Gillinger is an artist, furniture designer and interior architect. With a background in the performing arts as an actor, dancer and choreographer, Jenna explores storytelling and movement through architecture and design, often addressing feminist, civic, and socially oriented issues.
She holds a master in fine arts degree in Spatial Design from Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.
