WORKS IN GLASS AND CLAY

For Stockholm Creative Edition, Galleri Duerr presents a curated selection of Swedish glass and ceramic artists exploring the space between design and art, shown in parallel with Tove Mauritzson’s exhibition Friends Forever.

Mauritzson’s paintings draw on family life and daily routines, blending memory and imagination into tenderly distorted scenes of care, habit, and vulnerability.

In dialogue with this painted world, the participating artists extend similar concerns through material form. Shaped by heat, pressure, and time, the objects give physical presence to gestures of holding, containing, and preserving. As tactile counterpoints to Mauritzson’s scenes, the works reflect how relationships—like objects—are formed through repetition, use, and exposure, balancing fragility with resilience.

Participating artists: Anna Mlasowsky, Fanny Bylund, Josefin Bravo, Fanny Ollas, Rosita Ståhl, Alma Duran and Margherita Pozzali, among others.
