As an autodidactic artis, designer and carpenter, Niklas creates objects that are just as much sculptural furniture as they are work of art you can sit on. Using few components but reaching beyond Scandinavian minimalism. Each object is carefully crafted by hand, bringing a living presence to the room, adding new perspectives depending on where it is placed and from what angle it is viewed.

In his process, Niklas involves all senses – exploring tactile surface, scent and visual of the wood. A simplistic yet exclusive craftmanship is at the core of each detail, where everything from the type of wood and finish to additional fabric is purposefully chosen.

In his own words, his objects are friendly creatures, tying together the seriousness and playfulness of life.
