READING REEDS
Reading Reeds explores reed as a structural and sculptural material through a combination of experimental and traditional techniques. The project highlights an underused resource within the design industry and points toward a more ecologically attuned approach to materials—working with what is naturally abundant in the Swedish landscape. By allowing the inherent qualities of reed to guide form and construction, the work balances lightness, strength, and tactile presence.
