We are welcoming visitors to our architect- and interior design studio during Stockholm Creative Edition 2023.
FOR THE OCCASION WE HAVE INVITED JACKSONS DESIGN TO EXHIBIT SELECTED PIECES AT OUR STUDIO.
Jacksons have the absolute best pieces from the era that have influenced me the most as a designer, I am thrilled to put these pieces together with my contemporary furniture and see what response it will evoke, says Per Söderberg.
Per Söderberg’s furniture for his own brand No Early Birds have a distinct architectural expression. Selected pieces from the No Early Birds collection as well as bespoke furniture designed by Per for various interior projects will be exhibited together with 20th century art, ceramics, glass and lamps from Jacksons Design.
The curated exhibition will transform our studio into the home of an eclectic design collector, says Per.
Per grew up in Sweden and is educated at Domus Academy in Milan. He mixes his Scandinavian heritage with Italian influences. In his practice he has worked on a multitude of projects such as a vineyard, fashion stores, restaurants and exhibitions. For private clients he designs houses, apartments and bespoke joinery and furniture.
In 2010 Per launched his own furniture brand No Early Birds that he is running together with his wife Gabrielle. Per’s passion for details and materials can be clearly seen in his distinct design. Everything is handmade, sustainable and locally produced in Sweden by skilled craftsmen, always with care for the environment.
Jackson Design specializes in the best of 20th century Scandinavian and international vintage design with main focus on Scandinavian classics.
Although Jacksons Design and Per Söderberg have a long lasting collaboration – Per has designed exhibitions for Jacksons as well as their store at Sibyllegatan in Stockholm and their office and showroom at Frihamnen in Stockholm – this is the first time Jackson’s and Per are actually doing an exhibition together.
No Early Birds, founded by architect and designer Per Söderberg, is a contemporary yet timeless furniture collection based on the architectural cross-leg and and an ingenious mounting system. The furniture is made in Sweden with a holistic approach. Their design approach is based on the ambition to combine the simplicity and functionalism of Scandinavian design with the sophistication of Italian elegance.
