Kajsa Melchior is a Swedish artist and architect based in Stockholm, working across sculpture, design, and architecture. Known for geologically inspired pieces, her work explores the boundaries between furniture and sculpture. She holds degrees from HDK in Gothenburg and Konstfack in Stockholm, with a scholarship year at Chelsea College of Art. After five years at Wingårdhs, she developed a design-critical practice using materials like sand and alabaster shaped by erosion-like processes. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and in 2024 she received the Elle Deco Design Award. This year, Melchior is releasing a new series of wall sculptures.
