Porcelain Lights is a new collection of ceramic lamps showcased at the Stockholm Creative Edition exhibition. Created by interior architect Daniel Braconier, in collaboration with his mother, ceramist and artist Meta Braconier. A collection inspired by architecture, translated into strict but playful geometry in combination with strong characteristics from the clay and the mark of the hands that shaped it.
Crafted from a blend of stoneware and porcelain clay, each lamp is a striking combination of textures and finishes. Using colorful glazes that adds depth and vibrancy, resulting in a unique and captivating aesthetic. Each lamp is a one-of-a-kind piece, showcasing the beauty of handcrafted artistry.
After studying in Florence and at Konstfack Interior architect and furniture designer Daniel Braconier has been running his own design studio since 2019. He’s currently designing stores for the clothing brand A Day’s March. With over 45 years of experience the ceramist and artist Meta Braconier has made herself known for creating functional objects and abstract paintings. In her studio and workshop in Bjärred, Skåne, she creates a distinct and easily recognizable style.
